Mets lost to the Nationals last Sunday but we were so happy we found the Shea Stadium home plate, pitcher’s mound, and bases in the Citi Field parking lot!
The other two iconic attractions you can find at Citi Field from the old stadium are the Home Run Apple, in front of the Jackie Robinson Rotunda and the NYC skyline from the Shea’s scoreboard, on top of Shake Shack at section 139.
Shea Stadium was the home of the New York Mets from 1964 to 2008 and it sure has a lot of amazing moments! (History of Shea Stadium).
