Never liked baseball until I was influenced by my hubby and fell in love with the New York Mets. 

My hubby was originally a Red Sox fan because he used to live in Boston and loves to go to the Fenway Park but he’s now here in NY and he doesn’t like the Yankees, so why not follow the ‘underdogs’ – NY Mets!

He’s still a Red Sox fan but was unhappy with their gameplay. The Mets were doing great and he fell in love with the team. Of course, as a supportive wifey, I followed the Mets alongside my dear hubby! haha!

I never enjoyed watching baseball because it’s so boring to watch. It was like a snoozefest to me! But there was something about the Mets, the underdogs of NYC, and Citi Field, our home stadium, that I started to enjoy the game, the drama, and the experience!

I began learning the rules and whatnot with the help of my hubby of course. When they won as the National League East Division Champions, we were the happiest! When they lost the World Series, that’s when we realized that we’re really a certified Mets fan because we were heartbroken…

So hopefully this year, the Mets team will be able to take care of that unfinished business… Let’s go Mets!!!
